Thuir is a little Catalan town located near Perpignan. Thuir took a place in the French-Spanish war.

To go to Thuir, you can take trains or take the planes. Catch a flight on Perpignan's Airline, and then continue driving in a car until you reach Thuir.
See
In Thuir there are a lot of remains of fortifications and a museum of arts and traditions that you can go and see. There is also the Byrrh's cellars that you can visit and finally, you can see the largest barrel in the world and visit the production of the Byrrh's alcohol.

Thuir (; Catalan: Tuïr, ) is a commune in the Pyrénées-Orientales department, southern France.
== Geography == Thuir is located southwest of Perpignan, in the canton of Les Aspres and in the arrondissement of Ceret. It is situated in a plain between the natural zones of the Aspres and the Riberal.
