Tippu was born as Ekambaresh in Ponmalai, Trichy to Tamil people S. Lakshmi Narayanan and M. K. Meenakshi.[5] He has two siblings, an elder sister Gayathri and a younger brother Shamkumar.[6] Tippu did his schooling at the Kamaraj Matric School, Old Washermenpet and the St. John's Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Alwarthirunagar, Tamilnadu.
