Tito Rodriguez (Jan 4 1923 - Feb 28 1973) was one of the great Puerto Rican singer songwriters of the Latin, afro-cuban, mambo explosion during the 1950's and one of the major headliners (ex: The Palladium nightclub) in competition and fierce rivalry with Tito Puente during that time and into the 1960s TR could do it all; sing, write, was an excellent musician and dancer.
