.ua

.ua is the Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for Ukraine. To register at the second-level (example) domainname.ua, possession of the exact trademark (matching the domain name) is required. It is not required for third-level domains (.com.ua, .net.ua, etc.).

AI overview

.ua is Ukraine's official web address extension, similar to how .uk belongs to the United Kingdom or .de to Germany. To register a website directly under .ua, you need to own a trademark that exactly matches the domain name you want, though this requirement doesn't apply to websites registered under Ukrainian subdomains like .com.ua or .net.ua.
