Vémyslice is a market town in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants.
==Etymology== The initial name of the settlement was Vojemyslice and was derived from the personal name Vojemysl. The current form of the name was created by gradual distortion. The current name has been officially used since 1925.
