== History == Formerly a village, nowadays a settlement in Artashat Community, was founded in 1831. Before bearing names Bajazlou, Begjazlou, Bekjazlou was considered, as the name does hint, seat/place of beks/amirs, and was considered as part of Yerevan governorate. The current name was given since 1945.
