Fartyget tillfördes Göta Kanal Rederiet i samband med fusionen med Ångbåts Aktiebolaget Jönköping-Stockholm 1914. Fartyget fick sitt nuvarande utseende vid en ombyggnad på Falkenbergs Varv 1961. År 1966 togs ångmaskinen bort och Wilhelm Tham fick dieseldrift. Fartyget k-märktes 2004.
