Winston Riley (born 1946, Kingston, Jamaica - died 19 January 2012, Kingston, Jamaica) worked as a songwriter and record producer of Jamaican music. According to the Jamaica Gleaner, Riley has a claim to being the most successful reggae producer of all-time. Riley's entry into the music industry was at 16 years old in 1962, when he formed The Techniques harmony group, which recorded their first tracks for Coxsone Dodd of Studio One, and then later recorded for Duke Reid. <a href="https://www.la
