Xinxiang, a historically and culturally significant city in Henan Province, features a rich variety of local cuisine. Its food blends flavors from northern Henan and the central plains, offering both street snacks and traditional Henan dishes. Yuanyang Liangfen(原阳凉粉):A famous snack from Yuanyang County (under Xinxiang). Made from mung beans, it has a smooth and chewy texture. Stir-fried with vegetables and seasonings, it is refreshing and appetizing. Niuzhongxi Shaobing(牛忠喜烧饼):A historic local brand of baked flatbread. The pastry is crispy, layered, and flavorful, representing traditional Xinxiang baked goods. Hot Naibao (热奶宝):A local dessert made from glutinous rice and cream. It has a sweet, smooth texture and is often served warm, representing a distinctive Xinxiang snack.

In the city center, there are usually various hotels, convenient for people to stay after engaging in business, shopping, and visiting tourist attractions in the downtown area. You can book a minsu(民宿)on your mobile phone. Usually the price is much cheaper than the hotel. And you can also experience the local accommodation habits.
Connect
Xinyang, which has been jokingly called the backyard of Wuhan, is otherwise known as the southern gate of Henan. Right next to Xinyang in Hubei, people here are sometimes more connected to Hubei than to Henan.
