Yuval Raphael is from Ra'anana, on the outskirts of Tel Aviv. She began her professional singing career in 2024 when she took part in TV talent show HaKokhav HaBa, captivating viewers with her vocals all the way through to the final of the competition, which she won. Having won the eleventh season of the singing competition HaKokhav HaBa, she represented Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song "New Day Will Rise", finishing in second place overall with 357 points and winning the televote.
