Alnus acuminata (Kunth) – gatunek drzewa należący do rodziny brzozowatych. Zasiedla pospolicie górskie lasy deszczowe i lasy mgliste w Argentynie, Boliwii, Ekwadorze, Kostaryce, Gwatemali, Panamie, Peru i Meksyku. Dawniej rósł również często w suchszych dolinach śródandyjskich skąd obecnie w znacznym stopniu znikną z powodu znacznego przekształcenia tamtejszych siedlisk przyrodniczych. W miejscach występowania jest ważnym źródłem opału oraz drewna budowlanego. Dobrze regeneruje się z odrośli.
