The were Japanese teamsters or cargo carriers who used horses to transport their shipments. They were chiefly active between the Heian Period and the Sengoku Period. Images of the bashaku are famously drawn on the emakimono depicting the founding of Ishiyama-dera.

الباشاكو bashaku (馬借 bashaku) كانوا ناقلي بضائع يابانيين استخدموا الخيول في نقل شحناتهم. وكانوا نشطاء في الغالب بين فترة الهييان وفترة سن غوكو. وصور الباشاكو مرسومة بشكل ممتاز في إيما كيمونو (فن المعلقات) الذي يصور تأسيس معبد إشياماديرا. خلال نفس الفترة، كان يُعرف ناقلو البضائع الذين استخدموا الأبقار بدلاً من الخيول باسم شاشاكو (Shashaku).
