We empower ourselves by becoming a reliable foundation for others. Trent is a BAFTA Award-winning veteran of the games industry. He was one of six original co-founders of BioWare; during his time there, worked as a Technical Artist, Programmer, and Project Director, leading the development of the award-winning Neverwinter Nights from a one-sentence description through two expansion packs and over 5 million units sold. A 20 year software industry veteran and former management consultant, Kael has worked with over 200 businesses operating in more than 20 countries over his career. With experience in public, private, and non-profit sectors, he has amassed broad expertise in helping organizations to develop strategy and streamline their operations. As Beamdog’s COO, he works to develop rigorous standards of quality and efficiency for the company. With 8 years of experience in software engineering, Brock has built and led development teams across a range of fields including hydrology, medicine, big data, and gaming. As a Lead Engineer and Technical Director at Electronic Arts, Brock drove the development of game analytics solutions on titles like Star Wars: Battlefront 2, Battlefield V, Anthem, and Apex Legends. He currently serves as Beamdog’s Development Manager. A 14 year veteran of the industry, Luke has shipped over 30 games on mobile, handheld, console, and desktop platforms. Luke has spent much of his career in Japan, mentored by industry giants like Yu Suzuki and Takuma Endo; his notable credits from that time include Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls and Akiba’s Trip. At Beamdog, he’s served as Project Director on Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition. Beamdog is a Canadian video game studio located in Edmonton, Alberta. Founded by veteran game developers Trent Oster and Cameron Tofer, Beamdog has grown into one of the largest game studios in Alberta. Beamdog creates compelling game experiences for our fans, wherever they choose to play: PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, & Android. Since 2009, our team of artists, designers and developers have crafted original content and engineered enhanced editions of classic games. We’re best known for bringing beloved Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying games like Baldur’s Gate and Planescape: Torment back to life on desktop and tablets.
