Beringen ( German pronunciation: [ˈbeːʁɪŋən]; High Alemannic: Beringe) is a municipality in the canton of Schaffhausen in Switzerland. On 1 January 2013 the municipality of Guntmadingen merged into the municipality of Beringen.
