==Geography== Bilovodsk is located on the Derkul river, a left tributary of the Donets. Chalk deposits in the springs that flow into the river give it a white color, which is where the name of the town, Bilovodsk, comes from. Bilovodsk is located in the northeast part of Luhansk Oblast, from the oblast center Luhansk.
