Breaza () is a town in Prahova County, Muntenia, Romania. The town center consists of at least two former villages, Podu Vadului and Breaza de Sus, which were later merged. ==Geography== The town is situated in the foothills of the Baiu and Bucegi mountains, at an altitude of about . It lies on the banks of the river Prahova, towards the southern end of the Prahova Valley. Breaza is located in the northwestern part of the county, from the county seat, Ploiești.
