Bruktererpeton

It was first described and named by Jürgen A. Boy and Klaus Bandel in 1973 and the type species is Bruktererpeton fiebigi. Recent phylogenetic analyses confirmed that Bruktererpeton is a sister taxon of the better known genus Gephyrostegus.
