Dee Barton (18 September 1937 - 3 December 2001) was an american composer who composed and arranged music for movies and jazz and symphony orchestras. He was known for his skill in makin music fitting for horror movies and scenes. Barton played several instruments and led his own big band. One of Bartons best known works is the eerie soundtrack for Clint Eastwood's movie High Planes Drifter (1973).
