Ditrysia is a clade of lepidopterans that contains both butterflies and a majority of moth species. They are named for the fact that the female has two distinct sexual openings: one for mating, and the other for laying eggs.

I Ditrysia Börner, 1925 rappresentano la maggiore e la più evoluta tra le quattro divisioni in cui viene suddiviso l'infraordine Heteroneura, appartenente all'ordine Lepidoptera. Comprendono circa 155 000 specie, pari a oltre il 98% delle farfalle e delle falene descritte.
