Joshua Paul Davis (born June 29, 1972), better known by his stage name DJ Shadow, is an American DJ, songwriter and record producer. He first gained notice with the release of his acclaimed debut studio album, Endtroducing...... He has a personal collection of more than 60,000 records. His music is prominently featured in the documentary Dark Days which was released in 2000.

Joshua Paul Davis (born June 29, 1972), known professionally as DJ Shadow, is an American DJ and record producer. He first gained attention with his debut studio album "Endtroducing....." (1996), noted for its extensive use of samples and layered production. He was also a member of the band UNKLE from 1996 to 1999.
