Pogo, real name Nick Bertke, is an electronic musician from Perth, Western Australia. Since 2007, Pogo has been taking sounds from films and specific film scenes and sequencing them to form completely new musical pieces, a genre also known as plunderphonics, but there are multiple genre influences in his music. A number of Pogo's works consist almost entirely of the sounds he samples, with few or no additional music or sound samples. To date, Bertke has produced tracks from such films as Alice
