Emanuel Kania (born 26 March 1827 in Uszycach , d. March 16 1887 in Warsaw ) - Polish composer, pianist, organist and music critic. As a pianist he has performed in many Polish cities and abroad. He was also a piano teacher. He was educated in Wroclaw Carl Schnabel , Wroclaw pianist and piano builder. He also worked as an organist in Wroclaw St. Maciej , where today is dedicated to Emanuel Kani plaque. In 1853 he settled in Warsaw, since 1869 has been professor of the Institute of Music. <a hre
