Eric Lu (born December 15, 1997) is a Chinese-American classical pianist. He is laureate of the 4th prize at the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland. He was also the 1st prize winner at the 2015 US National Chopin Piano Competition in Miami, USA.[1][2][3] Eric Lu started piano studies at the age of six with Dorothy Shi (杨镜钏), near Boston, MA. Later on, he enrolled at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, where he studied piano with Alexander Korsan
