下駄（げた）は、一般的には、鼻緒があり底部に歯を有する日本の伝統的な履物。足を乗せる木板に「歯」と呼ばれる接地用の突起部を付け「眼」と呼ぶ孔を3つ穿って鼻緒を通したもので、足の親指と人差し指の間に鼻緒を挟んで履く。ただし、板下駄のように歯のない下駄もある。
