Gettorf (dänisch: Gettorp, plattdeutsch: Cheddörp, Geddörp) ist eine Gemeinde im Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde etwa auf halber Strecke zwischen Kiel und Eckernförde. Gettorf bildet den geographischen Mittelpunkt der Landschaft Dänischer Wohld und hat als ihr zweitgrößter Ort mit seinen Schulen, öffentlichen Einrichtungen und Gewerbebetrieben die Funktion eines Unterzentrums. Gettorf hat etwas mehr als 7500 Einwohner. Mit der Erschließung neuer Baugebiete ist die Erhöhung seiner Einwohnerzahl zu erwarten. Als Obergrenze sieht der Landesentwicklungsplan für die Wohld-Gemeinde 9990 Einwohner vor. Überregional ist Gettorf vor allem durch seinen Tierpark bekannt.
