Gnesta Municipality (Swedish: Gnesta kommun) is a municipality in Södermanland County in southeast Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Gnesta, with some 5,000 inhabitants.
The present municipality was created in 1992, when Nyköping Municipality (of which it had been a part since 1974) was split up.
