Gödnitz is a village and a former municipality in the district of Anhalt-Bitterfeld, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the town Zerbst/Anhalt.

== Geography == The villages Gödnitz and Flötz are between the towns Zerbst and Barby. Next to the villages there is the Gödnitz Lake which is an oxbow of the Elbe. Both villages are on the eastern side of the Elbe at the end of the moraine. The western part of Gödnitz/Flötz is a part of the Mittelelbe Biosphere. In the North West of Gödnitz the Nuthe flows into the Elbe.
