Hexanitrostilben (HNS) ist ein temperaturbeständiger Explosivstoff, der insbesondere bei Sprengungen in sehr heißen Erdöllagerstätten zum Einsatz kommt. HNS ist weniger brisant als Hexogen (RDX), besitzt aber einen höheren Schmelzpunkt von ca. 320 °C.
