Ivan Guimarães Lins (b. June 6, 1945) is a Brazilian musician. He has been an active performer and songwriter of Brazilian popular music (MPB) and jazz for over 30 years. His first hit, "Madalena", was recorded by Elis Regina in 1970. Testifying to Lins' importance as a composer is the frequency with which tribute albums and new covers of his compositions appear. Ivan Guimarães Lins (Rio de Janeiro, 16 giugno 1945) è un cantante, compositore e musicista brasiliano.Per oltre 30 anni ha scritto e interpretato brani di Música Popular Brasileira e jazz. La sua opera prima, Madalena, è stata registrata da Elis Regina nel 1970 ma è divenuta più nota la versione cantata da Simone Bittencourt de Oliveira. Ivan ha tra l'altro partecipato alla realizzazione di un brano musicale assieme a Michael Bublé dal titolo Wonderful Tonight.
