Lechința (; ) is a commune in Bistrița-Năsăud County, Transylvania, Romania. It is composed of seven villages: Bungard (Baumgarten bei Bistritz; Szászbongárd), Chiraleș (Kyrieleis; Kerlés), Lechința, Sângeorzu Nou (Sankt Georgen; Szászszentgyörgy), Sâniacob (Jakobsdorf bei Bistritz; Szászszentjakab), Țigău (Zagendorf; Cegőtelke), and Vermeș (Wermesch; Vermes);
