Leci Brandão da Silva (b. Rio de Janeiro, September 12, 1944) is a singer, songwriter and one of the most important proponents of Brazilian popular music (MPB). She began her career in the early 1970s and has recorded 20 albums and three singles. Outside of music, she holds a law degree from Gama Filho University and she has acted in a telenovela, Xica da Silva.
