Lichtenberg ( German: [ˈlɪçtn̩ˌbɛʁk] ) is the eleventh borough of Berlin, Germany. In Berlin's 2001 administrative reform it absorbed the former borough of Hohenschönhausen.
The borough was formerly part of East Berlin.
