Christian Ludwig Schuncke (21 December 1810 – 7 December 1834) German pianist and composer. Born into a family of professional musicians – his father Johann Gottfried (1777–1861) and uncle Johann Michael (1778–1821) were distinguished horn players – Ludwig's precocious talents were given every opportunity to develop and he was soon recognized as a pianist of outstanding ability.
