==Geography== Scarborough Shoal (under the names Pulo ng Panatag and Bajo de Masinloc), located to the west, is claimed by the Philippine government as Philippine territory under the town's jurisdiction. The longstanding territorial dispute over the shoal with China has negatively impacted fishermen of the community, reducing catch sizes and affecting other businesses.
