Mihail Jora (b. 2/14 August 1891, Roman – d. 10 May 1971, Bucharest) was a Romanian composer, conductor, pianist and teacher. He studied in Iasi (1909–11), Leipzig (1912–1914, with Robert Teichmüller and Max Reger) and Paris (1919–1920). Jora was the founder-chairman of the Society of Romanian Composers (1920) and music director of the Romanian Broadcasting Corporation (1928–1933).
