Nuke wurde mit einem Oscar für technische Innovation ausgezeichnet und wird von vielen der führenden Visual Effects Studios genutzt, darunter Digital Domain, DNA Productions, ReelFX, Sway, Gray Matter Effects, Optical & Graphics, Industrial Light & Magic, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Weta Digital, Pixomondo und Framestore.
