Ooteka (łac. ootheca, l. mn. oothecae, z gr. oo- – jajo i theca – osłona), kapsułka jajowa – zewnętrzna warstwa osłaniająca pakiet jajowy karaczanów i modliszek, określanych wspólną nazwą jajokapsułowców (Oothecaria).
