Fifteen employees produced a handful of products, including tungsten wire for the lighting industry. Today, 11,000 employees produce more than 100,000 products for thousands of customers from future-oriented industries. We stand for excellence throughout the entire production chain of molybdenum and tungsten. These materials are indispensable in many applications due to their thermal, mechanical and chemical properties and pave the way for high-tech products, often pushing the boundaries of what is technically feasible. Where and in what form our materials and tools are used and which material properties are required are defined by our customers. It is our customers who have presented us with ever-changing challenges and driven us to demonstrate our innovative strength for more than 100 years. We have facilitated the breakthrough of revolutionary products and applications. Our customers rely on our excellent knowledge of materials, our application knowledge of powder metallurgy and our powerful technologies. Every year, we invest ten percent of our sales in the development of new products as well as in new buildings, systems and technologies. Whether it's material solutions for smartphones, flat screens or computer tomographs, or whether it's tool solutions for mechanical engineering or the construction industry, the strong metals from the Plansee Group play a decisive role.
