Pomerode è un comune del Brasile nello Stato di Santa Catarina, parte della mesoregione della Vale do Itajaí e della microregione di Blumenau. È nota per essere La città più tedesca del Brasile. La sua popolazione stimata nel 2020 è di 34.010 abitanti, secondo i dati IBGE. Oltre al portoghese, gran parte della popolazione locale parla il tedesco, mentre la lingua originale della maggior parte dei Pomerodiani è il Pomeranio, un dialetto della Germania bassa orientale. Pertanto, c'è la coesistenza di queste tre lingue nella città (portoghese, tedesco e pomeranio).
