Raymond Fol (* April 9 1928 in Paris , † May 1 1979 ) was a French jazz - pianist and composer of the swing . Raymond Fol grew up in a musical family and was a student of Henri Challan , Marthe Morhange and Nadia Boulanger . He first played in 1945 in a traditional jazz formation with his brother Hubert Fol and trumpeter Boris Vian , and later with Django Reinhardt (1949-1951).
