==Description== thumb|Rheinsteig trail marker The Rheinsteig passes through woodlands and vineyards, and has challenging ascents and descents. It is signposted by signs with an 'R' on a blue background. The Rheinsteig allows either longer-distance hiking or a number of short tours.
