Roverandom ist ein 1998 posthum veröffentlichtes Kinderbuch des englischen Schriftstellers J. R. R. Tolkien. Es ist die Geschichte des kleinen Hundes Rover (von englisch rover ‚Vagabund‘), der in ein Spielzeug verwandelt wird, weil er sich gegenüber einem Zauberer schlecht benommen hat und sich dann auf eine abenteuerliche Reise begibt, um seine Originalgröße wiederzuerlangen. Tolkien verfasste diese Erzählung 1925 für seinen Sohn Michael, um ihn über den Verlust seines Spielzeughundes hinwegzutrösten. Sie ist neben ihrer direkten Bedeutung als fantasievolles Werk der Kinderliteratur für die Tolkienforschung vor allem durch ihre parallele Entstehung mit dem bekannteren Buch Der Hobbit interessant.
