Sign in to saveSchönteichen (; ) is a former municipality in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany. Schönteichen was created in 1994 by the merger of nine formerly independent municipalities. It was merged into the town Kamenz in January 2019. Schönteichen is a small community between the Upper Lusatian heath and the pond area of the Westlausitzer hills and mountains. With its nine districts - Biehla, Brauna, Cunnersdorf, Hausdorf, Liebenau, Petershain, Rohrbach, Schönbach and Schwosdorf - it covers an area of almost 45 km², surrounded by larger forest areas and nestled in a charming pond landscap

Шёнтайхен (нем. Schönteichen) — упразднённая коммуна в Германии, в земле Саксония. Подчинялась административному округу Дрезден. Входила в состав района Баутцен. Подчинялась управлению Каменц-Шёнтайхен. Население составляло 2253 человека (на 31 декабря 2010 года). Занимала площадь 44,96 км². Официальный код — 14 2 92 480. Коммуна была образована 1 марта 1994 года. 1 января 2019 года в ходе территориально-административной реформы была упразднена. Все населённые пункты, входившие коммуну, вошли в городские границы Каменца в статусе самостоятельных сельских общин. Коммуна подразделялась на 9 сельских округов: * Била * Брауна * Куннерсдорф * Либенау * Петерсхайн * Рорбах * Хаусдорф * Швосдорф * Шёнбах
