==History== In the past, Sercus was on a Roman road that went from Cassel to Aire-sur-la-Lys, going through Oxelaëre, Staple, Wallon-Cappel, Thiennes and from Aire-sur-la-Lys continued towards Amiens via Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise and Doullens.
