Silva Hakobyan (Armenian: Սիլվա Հակոբյան) is a popular Armenian singer. Silva was born on October 23, 1988, to Hakob and Virginia Hakobyan, in the city of Vayk, Vayots Dzor, Armenia. She performed since the age of 4 and has participated in many competitions. Silva won the BBC World Service's Next Big Thing competition, beating six other acts in a final in London.
