Also known as Sukunden, Nagyszokond, Großsukunden, Alsószokond

Socond (, Hungarian pronunciation: ; ) is a commune situated in Satu Mare County, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Cuța (Laphegy), Hodișa (Béltekhodos), Socond, Soconzel (Kisszokond), and Stâna (Felsőboldád).
