『千と千尋の神隠し』（せんとちひろのかみかくし）は、2001年に公開された日本の長編アニメーション映画。原作・脚本・監督は宮崎駿。2001年（平成13年）7月20日に日本公開。興行収入は316億8,000万円で、『タイタニック』を抜いて、当時の日本歴代興行収入第1位を達成し、2020年に『劇場版「鬼滅の刃」無限列車編』が記録を更新するまで、20年近くにわたり首位記録を堅持した。第52回ベルリン国際映画祭では『ブラディ・サンデー』と同時に金熊賞を受賞した。制作のきっかけは、宮崎駿の個人的な友人である10歳の少女を喜ばせたいというものだった。この少女は日本テレビの映画プロデューサー、奥田誠治の娘であり、主人公・千尋のモデルになった。企画当時宮崎は、信州に持っている山小屋にジブリ関係者たちの子供を集め、年に一度合宿を開いていた。宮崎はまだ10歳前後の年齢の女児に向けた映画を作ったことがなく、そのため彼女らに映画を送り届けたいと思うようになった。宮崎の友人である映画監督ジョン・ラセターの尽力によって北米で公開され、第75回アカデミー賞ではアカデミー長編アニメ映画賞を受賞した。2016年のイギリスBBC主催の投票では、世界の177人の批評家が「21世紀の偉大な映画ベスト100」の第4位に選出した。2017年にはニューヨークタイムズ選定21世紀最高の外国語映画ランキングで2位に選ばれた。 2016年に行われたスタジオジブリ総選挙で1位に輝き、同年9月10日から19日の10日間、全国5か所の映画館にて再上映された。2020年6月26日より日本372の劇場で『風の谷のナウシカ』『もののけ姫』『ゲド戦記』とともに再上映され、週末観客動員数で1位となった（も参照）。2022年に化。
