ستيفان هيل

Stefan Hell is a male physicist, university teacher, and chemist born in Arad in 1962. He holds German and Romanian citizenship and has worked at the University of Göttingen, Heidelberg University, and the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. He resides in Göttingen and works in Heidelberg. He speaks German and is interested in chemistry.

He received a doctorate and a Doctor of Philosophy from Heidelberg University. He is a member of the German Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, the Göttingen Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Lower Saxony, the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities, and the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. He participated in the 2017 German presidential election.

Hell was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry, the Körber European Science Prize, the German Future Prize, and the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize. He is recognized in the Nobel Laureates collection and the Nobel Chemistry collection.
