Umeå Municipality (Swedish: Umeå kommun; Ume Sámi: Upmejen tjïelte or Ubmejen kommuvdna; Meänkieli and Finnish: Uumajan kunta) is a municipality in Västerbotten County in northern Sweden. Its seat is Umeå, which is also the county seat of Västerbotten County.
