Vecrīga ("Old Riga") is the historical center and a neighbourhood (as Vecpilsēta) of Riga, Latvia, located in the Central District on the east side of Daugava River. Vecrīga is famous for its old churches and cathedrals, such as Riga Cathedral, St. James's Cathedral and St. Peter's Church.

De Oude Stad (Lets: Vecrīga, Duits: Altstadt) is het historische en geografische centrum van Riga. Gelegen op de linkeroever van de Westelijke Dvina (Daugava) zijn, ondanks de sloop van de vestingwerken en wallen in 1857-1863, haar karakter als vestingstad nog goed herkenbaar. De na de sloop van de stadsmuren ontstane open ruimtes werden omgevormd tot een stadspark met stadsgracht (Pilsētas kanāls), welke tegenwoordig de Oude Stad van de 19e-eeuwse Nieuwe Stad scheidt. De Oude Stad staat samen met de Nieuwe Stad op de UNESCO-lijst van Werelderfgoed.
